Car was lowered with HR Springs I just found out. He is still waiting for the JIC Cross Suspension to come out.

That looks good, but I heard of many 997 owners returning the 20"inchers for 19's due to ride issues. So I heard.

I still love that Techart 997 in silver without the rear wing. Yummy

Congrats! Looks good! I don't think he ever tries to advertise the wheels etc etc and it is just a photo for us to see.

I actually like these wheels better than the similarly styled HRE's. And i believe that HRE's are totally over-priced. These suit the car and colour beautifully. I would probably go with the 19's tho, just from a performance standpoint. Thanks for the pictures!

Tragic. Not an honorable approach. Usually when a product gets knocked-off, it's from someone in another country. To see it here and price undercutting is just sad. At least CCW and other manufacturers that sell on price have the integrity to come up with their own styles and not make their product and even logo look similar to someone else's that's been putting in their time for many years to develop product and do it right. No admiration or respect coming from me. I've seen this happen in Golf, Cycling, Cars and many industries of late. People knocking off someone else's product to be so close like this instead of being innovative and forging (no pun intended) a new path of their own. I even saw iForged brochure last year that looked like it had pieces of HRE marketing cut and pasted into it. If I'm going to spend good money, I'll hold out just a bit longer and go with the original. They've worked for it, deserve it, have been doing it right and didn't leech off of another company to do it.

Lots of coments about 'filling out the wheel arch nicely' etc. but that's not really the case. The car is lowered, that's most of what you see (along with an offset that puts the side wall @ a good point w/the fender).
Going to 20's (from OE 295/30s) lessens sidewall height by maybe half an inch or so but, as mentioned, overall diameter's barely affected.
Personally, for a daily driver (not a show car) I'd like a tad more rubber between the road & custom rims.
Good looking car though!

Why do wheels have to cost $6-10K? If he can capture a market that are willing to pay less and look passed the name then more power to him. I get tired of vendors gauging because you have a $80K car. As for ripping off another manufacturer in your opinion. WHO CARES I can compare many wheel manufacturers that have like products that appear similar. If he can provide a quality product at an affordable price how can you complain!

Your car looks great! Your wheels look great... I wish you and your company a great 2005!
