Question for Owners of GT Silver Carreras

Will try to purchase a C4S when my current lease runs out. GT silver is my color of choice. Was wondering if any of the GT silver owners out there had basalt black wheels, and whether they thought that color scheme was a good combination. Pics would be greatly appreciated too!

Not what you're looking for...below is my GT Silver, but with silver Champion wheels. I had a set of HRE's painted black...on for a week and sold it. It just wasn't for me. (very subjective)
Feel free to photo shop the image below with a darker set of wheels. This could serve as a base for comparison.

I doubt you'll find anyone with basalt black wheels. only car that might have those is a car that is basalt black to begin with. there are plenty of cars on this forum that are GT silver with black wheels though.

This should be pretty close with my "Metallic Dark Charcoal" wheels.

Good Luck!

I have a GT Silver C2S with Black Carrera Sport Rims. I thought about getting the rims painted Basalt Black but I didnt think that there would be much difference between Black and Basalt Black. I really like the Carrera Sport rims painted black because there is a chrome trim on the rim that creates a break between the black rim and the tire.

You might also want to ask if there are arctic silver owners with these wheels as it is a similar color and much more common. You might get more pics...

Someplace here (might have been a wheel manufacturer) a couple of weeks ago there were black wheels with a silver or chrome lip; really looked sharp.
