Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
will the competition intake work on my 05 carrera cab? and does it require cutting a second hole in the deck lid to let that second air filter pull in cold air aswell? i am very interested in upgrading my car to the 200 cell xpipe cats and the competition intake it looks great !

Requires cutting a hole in your rear deck. Also look at the intake carefully...its not a sealed box and will suck in hot air from the engine. The stock air box is actually a real cold air box and flows plenty of air.

So would a wiser choice be to Maybe go with the smooth silicon hose set up and factory air box with Maybe a BMC hi flow filter ?

I used the Fabspeed CAI for about 1-1/2 years. Here is my thoughts. Looks nice yes...CF always looks good. Sound at WOT...sick. It's gotten too much for me now. I have the "Gundo" so the sound is great as is. Filter gets way dirty real fast. I feel too much dirt gets in this open set up not to mention way too much hot air. I only see higher RPM gain and that's due to the car moving faster and more air getting into the compartment. I put the stock box on for smog and noticed more low end torque compared to the Fabspeed. Sound wasn't over the top at WOT either. The biggest thIng I noticed is the linear power with the stock box. I'm putting a K&N Filter to improve air flow. I like the dual intake that has just come out, but again...it allows too much hot air at lower speeds since the snorkel really doesn't allow enough cooler air to over come the hot air from the engine. The X-51 airbox is what I want. May get that if funds are available. If anyone wants the Fabspeed CAI, I'm selling mine in the classifieds. Comes with 2 filters. That's my .02
