What are the biggest rears 305's? on the 997.2 C2S

I don't know,there isn't much selection once you go above a 305/30/19 and want to stay as close as possible to the OEM 26-26.2". 315/25/19's aren't really that much wider but they are almost 1" shorter.

I wouldn't go any bigger the. 305/30/19. There is no reason to go wider.

On OEM wheels, I believe some people have put 325's on 11" wheels, I have 315's on my track wheels (18x11).

 

In addition to the 'fit' issue, for a constant size of front tire, the wider you go in the rear, the more boring understeer you provoke in the car. The stock tires already delivers plenty of understeer (a far cry from back in the day) and you'll compound it by increasing rear footprint.
Perhaps that's not a concern, but thought I'd mention it.

 

I am not doing anything right now just wondering. Some other threads about wheels got me thinking.
