Want some interior updates- best bang for buck?
I'd like to do something to update my interior. I am beginning to like the Carbon Fiber look, but it's so expensive- I can't justify the cost!
That said, any recommendations? Just want to freshen up the interior a bit. Car is black on black.

Do you have FULL leather?
So --The focused on the hands on parts . I did was the Techart steering wheel and the aluminum shift and lever and had the console painted to the color of the door handle . I also added rennline pedals. The cost was less than the carbon and it focused the mods on driving (hand and foot). Photo is a bit blurry --I have to look to find a better one.

I have the aluminium package in my dark grey natural leather interior and like it very much. Should look good on black too. The PDK gear selector/handbrake in aluminium really stands out well as yrralis1 eluded to. My airvents are aluminium too. I am now thinking of changing the color of seat belts and the faces of the gauges to the same color (either speed yellow or guards red) just to give it a nice contrast to the natural grey interior but cannot decide on which of the two colors would go well with the grey interior and the GT silver exterior. May be changing the color of the center console and the seat belts is something that would appeal to you.

yrralis1, hopefully this isn't too off topic from the OP, but could you comment on how you like the techart wheel? Not a cheap option, but I like how it integrates with the overall interior - doesn't look out of place - could almost be OEM. Also very interesting choice to match the center console to the door handles. There are a lot of alum look / grey colors going on in the black interior and I have been wondering what color I would go with. Do you know what the actual paint color was called? I really like the changes you have made.
For the other poster wondering red or yellow for accent, I agree it would make sense to match to whatever brake color you have!

I was faced with the same dilema. In fact I even priced some carbon and was almost ready to do the upgrade but the combination of the expense and pulling apart my entire dash did not appeal to me.

This guy went to the actual factory. Check out page 2 ---https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ing-wheel.html
2) I don't know the paint color code but it was done through the The Collection motorsport dept and they sent the part to be painted. They could probably do yours. I even considered doing the seat backs.
BTW --They did a great job on my white car .. console and seat backs both painted to exterior color.
3) The shifter is the actual aluminum shifter . Porsche has two types .. one is "aluminum look" and the other is real aluminum .
Here's a pic of my steering wheel.
i too will be sending out my center console to bumperplugs to have it painted midnight blue, along with some other pieces including the door handles , my interior is sand beige so it should POP really well....
