Want some interior updates- best bang for buck?
Wow...that aluminum look is hot. I've always had at least my rear center console painted in exterior color through bumperplugs but when I bought my black 997.2S, w/ black interior, I figured black RCC would not be worth it. Now I'm seriously considering the aluminum look!
To the OP -- I think there are places that can wrap some of the interior trim pieces in a carbon fiber look. It's much less expensive and from what I've seen in pics, looks very good.
Another thing you can do is to change out the dash dials. If you want to be more bold, and if you have red calipers, you may consider changing the instrument dials to red, along with the rear center consoleand the trip pieces that travel horizonally across the dash (starting with the cup holder trim piece), and doing red seat belts. Or paint your calipers yellow and do the same in the interior but yellow.

Get custom steering wheel. Rest of stuff better be left alone. Toning windows may be nice touch but I had that done to one of my previous cars and film started to peel off after third winter so now I am against toning.
What about carbon fibre wrap? If you have the talent/time you could even apply it yourself

yrralis1, hopefully this isn't too off topic from the OP, but could you comment on how you like the techart wheel? Not a cheap option, but I like how it integrates with the overall interior - doesn't look out of place - could almost be OEM. Also very interesting choice to match the center console to the door handles. There are a lot of alum look / grey colors going on in the black interior and I have been wondering what color I would go with. Do you know what the actual paint color was called? I really like the changes you have made.
For the other poster wondering red or yellow for accent, I agree it would make sense to match to whatever brake color you have!

1) The Techart wheel -- It's a amazing wheel. It's thicker than stock and hand made . I picked the sport leather wheel no logo but I have seen them with alcatara and carbon and multi function.
This guy went to the actual factory. Check out page 2 ---https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ing-wheel.html
2) I don't know the paint color code but it was done through the The Collection motorsport dept and they sent the part to be painted. They could probably do yours. I even considered doing the seat backs.
BTW --They did a great job on my white car .. console and seat backs both painted to exterior color.
3) The shifter is the actual aluminum shifter . Porsche has two types .. one is "aluminum look" and the other is real aluminum .

yrralis1, I love your techart wheel. IMO that is the gold standard wheel and is well worth the price. What did you do with the OEM one ? Would there be any takers for the OEM steering wheel. Going with red to match with my nonceramic brake calipers would be the correct choice and thanks for the suggestion. But looks like changing the gauge faces would entail a lot of work and a costly price that goes with it so I might just not do it for the time being and also not sure how good the seat belt and gauge face change would look. Any ideas/suggestions on people who have done this. Does it improve the look and which is a good place to get one of these gauge faces ? I will try to post some pics of my aluminium lok later today for Cattman.

Cattman, how about dressing up the interior with some alcantara? That's what I did and it made a huge difference. I put in alcantara dash, shifter, GT3RS steering wheel, console cover, e-brake spline, and GT3 seats.
Alcantara is way cheaper than carbon fiber. But with either one, its the labor that gets expensive.

What did you do with the OEM one ?
I bought mine from CEC in Miami --They are a site sponsor and authorized Techart center. I love the wheel too.
I have seen them in other styles. Look at this one in Carbon /Alcatra -with McCarbon covering the silver spokes.
Thanks guys fir all the compliments. I love the leather quality and it changes the entire driving feel of the car.
Part of the upgrade is giving up the OEM wheel . Techart uses the oem wheel to make theirs from what I understand. I bought it so long ago and i do think I had a choice to keep my wheel and pay more or give it up.

This may seem simple, but what about Porsche rubber floor mats? It gives a fresh look and they work well too. $78 for front set.
