Good luck,

I think what I'll do is just use the temporary registration thing for a while (like, a year), and then just screw in the license plate. I like the car looking slick like everyone else, and I don't even mind the occasional ticket, but I just can't deal with the headache of dealing with the fix-it tickets.

Another question: do any of you guys alternate between the bumper plugs and the license plate holder? That is, have the plugs in, get a fix-it ticket, take the plugs out, place the license plate, get the ticket signed off, replace the plugs, etc, etc?

adias,

We are in total agreement for once. This is exactly what I did thanks to your recommendation on an earlier thread. I'm very happy with it. I was looking for that e-mail address so I could post it but you beat me to it.

He is very nice to deal with ships fast and offers a quality solution to solve this problem once and for all. With this kit you can be 100% legal and keep your bumper free of holes and plugs. Highly recommended!

OSH has plugs

Just go to OSH hardware store. I bought my black plugs from them ( I have a black bumper). They are located where they have small hardware accessories. I used the smallest ones available 1/4 inch or so.

Wow, this is new... At OSH? I'm sure they only have the common colors like black, though... Mine is Meteor grey metallic, unfortunately.

I got pulled over in TX a few times (where they require a front lic plate) and luckily the officer didnt walk up front to check. They seem to be more lax about it in TX.
