Just drove my '09 C2S at night for the first time the other day, and noticed that the Sport Chrono guage doesn't light up at night with the headlmaps on. Is this normal?

PS: I'd ask JustAToy for advice because he lives close to me, but he's polished his dash so much, the Sport Chrono wart is gone!

yup it is. It will light up when selected on with the lower left lever (on steering column).

 

Mine was off but after service 2 weeks ago is on with headlights. I want to turn it off again.

From the factory sport chrono is not illuminated at night (headlights on) .
There is a simple program that the technicians can do if you want it illuminated . I tried it and did not like it. The lit up sport chrono looked nice but was a bit distracting. I preferred it dark.

 

I dropped off my car at the dealership about a month and a half ago, when my baby was back the chrono lights were on with the headlights. I was surprised to see it since I did not know about it or even ask. It looks really nice at night!

 

should be off unless used... thats how it comes from factory.

 

Thank you everyone for the responses. I'm just being a little paranoid about things until I get used to the car. Up to now, I haven't been able to drive it very much because of all the rain we've been having....so the bonding and familiarization process is a little delayed.
