As a point of reference, I bought a MINT 06 C2S with 6K miles last October for $55K which had 8 months left on the factory warranty + CPO. The car is loaded (MSRP of $99K). Took me 7 months to find the perfect car and in the end, I couldn't be happier. PSE and full leather makes the car IMO.

 

I've been researching too...sounds like a fair price IMO.

 

here in southern cal, the used Pcar market has really firmed up.

but i noticed there are more 06 available than the 07 997s..

so perhaps the numbers are deceiving..

low sales # for 07 could be the result of less 07s available for sale.

to the OP, the $ seems reasonable, but i was under the impression that speed yellow and guard reds are easier to negotiate.. simply due to lower demand for them.. not that they are not beautiful colors.

my buying experience: i was trying to squeeze the lowest possible price on a gorgeous atlas / full natural leather..

during negotiation, another salesperson sold the car.. and i was angry at myself for losing that deal over $2k

everyone here at the forum told me that 'it was meant to be'.. yeah right

but sure enough, i found even a better car - cause it fits me better, IMO, at a better price !

so i guess i am trying to say that if u really love the car after u drive it and inspect it (incl DME and carfax) .. dont let $1-2 k stop u from buying it.

but dont be afraid to let it go if something is not right, because there will be a perfect one for u.
