Widebody Carrera Classics

I recently installed widebody offset rear wheels, and a few people have asked me for pictures. These are from about a month ago (hence the snow). I wanted to post these since I looked over a lot of pictures on this forum before making this purchase. To anyone who is considering installing widebody wheels (or 15mm spacers), my advice is to do it as soon as possible. It completely changes the stance and appearance of the car. I'm extremely satisfied.

I bought these wheels from Alan at Wheel Enhancement, and their speed of shipping, packaging and overall customer service were impeccable. Great company to do business with.

I'm no photographer, but I hope you enjoy the photos.

Here is picture I took before I had them installed which shows the difference in concavity of the widebody rears. As you can hopefully see, the widebody offset wheels have a noticeably more concave shape to them in order to push the outer edge of the wheel out an extra 16mm (the wheels that do not have tires wrapped around them are the widebody offsets). For those interested in specs, both wheels are 11" wide, but the widebody offset is ET 51 vs. ET 67 on the narrow body wheels.

Looks very nice! I had 15mm spacers on with my 18" winter wheels, and it definitely completed the look. I took them off when I put the Carrera S II (widebody) wheels back on for the summer.

fronts are the same (I never changed them). It's my understanding that the front wheels are the same for both NB and WB cars anyway.
