I pulled the 20" Modulares that came on the car from the showroom floor (and looked great) in favor of 19" Champion Motorsport RS97s with Michelin PS2s. Ride, handling, and comfort is a tad improved and I think these look even better on the car. It's a 2009 997.2 'S' Cabrio.

LOL...it's coming back late from winter hibernation. It'll be solid green and perfect in a couple of weeks.

I just thought what a nice house, too bad the lawn looks like crap.

I figured the warm part of the continent would have nice green grass through the winter.

We had a few snowstorms in Dallas this year, one of which was the worst in several decades and killed a bunch of plants in the yard. After taking these pics I realized I should've swept the street and did a little lawn photoshopping...

Champion makes the best Porsche wheels...but I'm biased, of course. They look great on your cab. Congrats!

Are you kidding! I live 1/2 way up a mountain in Vancouver, and I didn't have any real snow this year. In fact I made a point of driving my Porsche everyday during the Winter Olympics!

Car looks great either way.

Don't forget Ed, not everyone lives in a rainforest like you do.
Plus, most lawns in Vancouver look worse in summer than here in So Cal, because few people there have irrigation.

Back to our regular programming: those wheels look great. I love my Champions too.

I love my irrigation system, makes lawn 101 a lot easier!

Looks awsome - for me, I would lower the car a touch to remove some of that wheel well gap.

Just a dip of lowering is what I would go with now.

My last 997 had a drop that looked great, but unfortunately Dallas roads are comparable those in a 3rd-world country and the ride compromise just wasn't worth it this time around. My former car pics are below...

NorthVan --- See my latest pics...this is how the lawn normally looks (and my neighbors' lawns for that matter). BTW, I ski in Whistler just about every year and make a stopover for a day or two in Vancouver and can hardly imagine a more beautiful place!

Great choice !!! The 19's are the way to go IMO -- Champion wheels are great quality and you picked a nice style for your car.
