2011 C4S Ordered!
Basalt w/ Natural Brown is very distinguished, no doubt. I do not understand your argument re colder climates though. In a darker/colder climate a white car livens things up. A dark car, well is a colder car. But as I said, nothing wrong with your choice.
If Porsche can find other markets to absorb the US allocation of cars you will see fewer cars available here at higher prices. In light of Porsches most recent experience here in the states, when they needed to discount new cars to get them off the lots, they will not let that happen again even if it means curtailing production.
before you buy that color combo...take a look at this from Techart. Just my opinion, primary color cars look the best and have the best resale value. I think the only sparkle paint that looks the best is GT Silver. I do not think white is feminine! Dark brown is just a little dull on a dark car. Trust me. My car is Black with light tan and it pops!

Congrtaulations Kapoor,
I used to own a boxster S and a Cayman S but nothing like a 911. The traction from the rear, feel of the engine at the back etc is awesome.
Kinda curious why you chose a c4s over an S, gonna drive it in snow on uphills with winter rubber?

Picked the C4S because I live in Canada and yes I will be driving it in the winter. Even with plowed streets it can get a little dicey here.
When you originally wrote black with brown interior, I thought ew, what a horrible choice. However, in this picture, I realize it's a light brown, almost tan and yes, that looks very nice. I like the dark rugs too because believe me, tan floor mats are a pain in the *** to keep clean. I used to shampoo mine in the winter every few weeks.
I have seen the jet black with natural brown and it is gorgeous. On the other wand the white also looks great with the lines of the widebody C4S plus it also matched the brown. Basalt black is an interesting color . The first time I saw it I coild not figure out if it was black or if the car had dust on it (which is common with black) . When I looked closer I realized it was a metallic shade . It looks great in the sun too.
Can't go wrong with any.

BTW... I have no problem with my matching nat brown mats. It's not the color, but how you use them. Dark mats get dirty too, they just hide dirt.

Beautiful car and color choices and I am envious. I just bought a 09 C2S and daily have second thoughts since we get lots of snow here and AWD will come in handy. I guess I don't have to worry until next winter though. BTW, one reply mentioned you should add the PASM option, which lowers your car just under an inch. Even with AWD, clearance will some times be an issue with this car in the snow and PASM would make it worse possibly turning you into a snow plow..........
