Alignment

SHould I do alignment when i drop the car? might be a dumb question but i thought somebody said dont need it on porsches

Porsches are no different, yes do the alignment.

Yes, of course you need an alignment after the car is lowered. You might want to drive 100 or so miles after you drop it before you get it aligned to allow the suspension to settle first.

I just dropped mine about 3/4" (with Damptronics), and had an alignment and corner balance done. The car handles totally different and much better now. The steering response is phenomenal. I don't know how much of the difference is due to the lowering (and added camber) and how much is just the improved alignment. I've been told that many cars come from the factory with alignment out of spec.

It's not so much that they're out of spec from the factory as the spec is soo broad giving lots of room for adjustment. A good alignment and corner balance as you described can make all the difference.
