2005 Porsche 911 Carrera Input (WTB)

Has Anybody seen this?

http://www.r-motorsports.net/newandu...rsche-911.aspx

If I plan on checking it out, I want to get a PPI done.

But what do you guys think of the price?
Seems pretty low

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

In my opinion it seems too low.

Carfax would help. If the car has a clean title and 1 or 2 owners than it is a steal. But I seriously doubt that everything is right on that car.

AS others, that is very low. Either something is wrong or they have no idea what they have to sell...

base carrera, limited options list, paintwork ? i dont think the price is outside the realm of possibility. ppi tells the tale.

let us know how it works out.

I don't think it's that far off. 2005 Carrera, lightly optioned (nothing apparent besides wheels and heated sports seats), with a scraped rear bumper, repainted front bumper (from the looks) , some crackly leather on the seat bolsters, may need tires. It's just a little rough -- in person may look moreso than in photos. Carfax may have some interesting info as well. May just be priced to move without additional investment.

It's priced to sell and worth looking at . I suppose the concern I'd have would be the lack of warranty and 05 engine history . Low miles look great though.

34K can buy a CPO Cayman S through and that certification and warranty can give some peace of mind too.

Hard choice. Good luck.

Seems pretty low... no doubt PPI + carfax is in order. Hard to believe a clean no-stories car could go for that. Plus, cars usually look worse in person than they do in pictures-

R Motorsports Carrera

I think there has been more work than one of the previous posters' inspection turned up.

This car was invovled in a big collision.

Here are some before pics:

Hope that helps your decision!

a good clean car always costs a little more on the front end but well worth it.
35k for a clean c2 2005 would be hell of a steal.
