Brake Pads and Rotors

Hi Guys,
Its time to change my car brake pads and rotors. The quotation i got from my dealer is ridiculous.
Brake pads front + rear = $794 without Labour.
Rotors= $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I'm thinking of ordering Textar Brake pads and any good quality rotors. Any suggestions?

I just bought OEM front and rear pads for my '06 C4S for $450.00 through an independent shop (Black Forest in San Diego). Shop around.

Look at Suncoast, I think they can ship international. The prices are really reasonable...

Sorry, I didn't notice your location when I first replied. I guess that a San Diego, CA, USA shop may not be of interest to you. My sources have indicated that for spirited street driving and occasional track use OEM pads are the best choice. YMMV.

Seriously, pads and rotors - you will get it done yourself just fine even if you never saw a wrench before.

In a pinch you can also gets pads and rotors just fine at any normal auto parts shop.

Are you aware of the fact that Suncoast is selling the Front and Rear Pads for around $325? That is less than half the price your dealership asked for.

I Know that, but if I'm going to buy from suncoast the shipping and handling fees + the price of the pads will be close to the 600 range.

Would the shipping cost that much? I would ask them just to be sure...
