Brake Pads and Rotors
Brake Pads and Rotors
Hi Guys,
Its time to change my car brake pads and rotors. The quotation i got from my dealer is ridiculous.
Brake pads front + rear = $794 without Labour.
Rotors= $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I'm thinking of ordering Textar Brake pads and any good quality rotors. Any suggestions?

Sorry, I didn't notice your location when I first replied. I guess that a San Diego, CA, USA shop may not be of interest to you. My sources have indicated that for spirited street driving and occasional track use OEM pads are the best choice. YMMV.
Seriously, pads and rotors - you will get it done yourself just fine even if you never saw a wrench before.

In a pinch you can also gets pads and rotors just fine at any normal auto parts shop.
Textar is the OEM supplier. They do make a few different variants of the same pad, so not sure if those are identical to the OEM pads (would have to check part numbers in detail) but they are certainly very close.

Is the $794 for rotors and pads?
Dave
I Know that, but if I'm going to buy from suncoast the shipping and handling fees + the price of the pads will be close to the 600 range.
