Does Michelin still make the PS2 tire ?

Tire Rack no longer lists the PS2's on their web site in the 305/30/19 size. Has Michelin they stopped making them ? Found them on other sites but the fact that Tire Rack doesn't show them makes me a little cautious.
Anybody know why ?

My dealer told me that Michelin has changed the compound slightly and they are catching up on the production of them. I don't know how accurate that intel is, but that's what I got.

The new sport cups are R compound and I'm afraid they'll wear faster than the PS2's did. So what about the Potenza RE 11's ? Hear good things about the Hankook Ventus but am concerned about long term wear and potential road noise as the tread pattern wears. I remember the Yokohama's I put on my Boxster that where cheap and claimed by all as great replacement tires for my Michelines. When new they sounded fine but as they wore down they made so much noise it sounded like I was driving a jacked up pickup truck. Anyone using the RE 11's ?

RE11s are the best tire I've driven. I just wish BStone would make them in 18 and wide....

The N1 tires in this size have been discontinued and replaced with the N2 version.

The N2 tires are not discontinued, just in such short supply that at this time they are a dealer-only item until Michelin catches up with production. I certainly hope to have them available for retail sale again soon.

Had the RE-11's put on the other day. Have read a LOT of good things about them, so figured i'd give them a try from the PS2's. Only about 100 miles so far but i think they are going to be very good.

quiet, comfotable, and from what i've been told better dry grip than the ps2's and similar in the wet. Only negative is that they are a bit heavier. also about $700 cheaper, which ain't bad either.

figured no harm in trying them out as this is certainly a "reversible" mod

not a fan of the PS2's. dont know how some people can swear by them.. PS2's are just aweful until fully warmed up and even then not fully predictable.

What tires are you using and how do like them ? Am definitely going to have to replace mine as the rears are toast. I'll need to replace all 4 so would be interested in your thoughts.

The RE050A N1 are lighter and are also very good.

IF you are going to spend PS2 money STOP...DON'T DO IT...get the Pirelli P Zero...NOT the Rosso...the P Zero that Porsche is putting on the cars from the factory.

the car came with the RE050A's and preferred the PS2's. I think the RE-11's may be the best yet. Reserving final judgment until i put a few more miles on them, but so far i am very impressed.

GT3Gavin is infamous around these parts
I have been running PS2's for years now and I love them. I also think there there is an N3 out or coming out that may be easier to find soon. However, don't spend money on PS2's right now when the PS3 has been mentioned in a press release and released in other markets in the world. The other sizes will be out soon enough and I am anxious to try them.
