Clarkson hates Porsches because he can't drive one (put a 997 GT3 into the wall) and perhaps he can't drive period...it took him all day to break 2 minutes at Laguna Seca in a prepared Nissan NSX...while that time might be ok for a novice driver on street tires it is pretty poor for someone with his experience level and a prepared NSX to boot

 

Chuck, it is all about power to weight! Clarkson is a big man, and he made the NSX weight the same as a Hummer H1!

I really dont think he's that much of a good driver whenever they need to get good times they call in the Stig. TIff Needel from 5th gear on the other hand is one hell of a driver with real racing experience.

Totally Agree. Tiff, Jason and Vicki on "5th Gear" put the Top Gear guys to shame.

Agree. Clarkson can drive like an animal. He just hates Porsches because Hammond loves them....you know....its just all showmanship for the cameras and fans. Deep down he probably loves P cars.....just cant admit that on TV....it would destroy all the P car hating fan sector .
