I was just bumming on the Porsche site and realized that the C2S and C4s have the same wide a$$ now...so outside the 4 wheel and the red strip there's no other differnce..kinda bumm, the c4s was always special hmmm

 

that's not correct. look at the other 911 models - the only one with a wider width is the GT3 RS. they must measure body width at the front fenders

 

I hope soo, but that doesn't make sense why would you measure the width from the narrow ends..does anybody have the measurements on back..the site list 71.18 for all below the turbo model and for the turbo it's 72.91 that's same as the GT3 RS

 

Maybe the site has a bug. Not unheard of. 71.18 is NB rear width.

 

All the widths are listed in the owner's manual - C4 definitely wider than C2 - doesn't matter if it's an S or not - 1,808mm (71.2 inches) on the 2 and 1,852mm (72.9 inches) on the 4, Turbo and Targa.

 

The C2, C2S, GT3 are all narrow bodys

the C4, C4S, Targa 4, Targa 4S, TT, GT3RS, and GT2 are all wide body
