audiophiles - i need phone/BT help

I have the Nav-Tv(Tooki)bluetooth in my 2006 Carrera S. Like the OP,people say that the sound is terrible. I have resorted to using the headphones that came with the Iphone.

I had issues with the iphone and BTA 1500, in terms of people saying they heard an echo. I bought a parrot mic for $35 and switched to the HTC HD2, and now no one complains. However, I still only receive audio from the front dash speaker. Annoying.
