Waiting for Pagids
Waiting for Pagids
Pagid Yellows are being produced for the 997.2 C2 now. Just backordered in Germany for the time being.
Decided not to go to the track till I get my pads. It is painful, the wait. Took the car out once last year. Tomorrow is an event Im signed up for but I chickened out.
Just wondering, for the advanced drivers, do any of you drive at the track on stock pads?

I'm not an advanced driver. I've done 6 DE days with stock pads (997S) and have had no problems. Lots of guys here use stock pads. Go have fun and don't worry about it. You can use the yellows next time.
You can do advanced on stock pads...depends on how advanced you are and if you really threshold brake a lot and if the track is a brake heavy track or not. I would not let stock pads hold me back from enjoying a day at the track.
Well, I took out the car. Handled what I threw at it fairly well. I watched my braking a bit and when the pedal softened I took it back in to let it cool off. The Pilot Sports seemed to do well.
Car is great. Very chuckable. A bit too much understeer that stops one from getting on the poer earlier.

I just ordered a set of Pagid Yellow RS 29 Brake Pads this week and they had them in stock.
They were great to deal with and also suggested the steel braided brakelines which make sense under heavy braking. I also bought Motul Brake fluid. Email dan@vividracing.com He was very helpful.
