My key fob just keeps blinking and won't open the car. It starts it and opens it manually but no remote functions. The car wasn't left for more than a day. It just stopped working. I tried the reset feature and flipping the battery around. Nothin.

Are key fobs covered under warranty?

Did you try putting in a new battery? The RF transmitter runs on the battery.. flipping it around won't do anything, but moving it can sometimes make a better contact to the device and get you some slight reprieve.. but you'd still need to replace the batter with a fresh one if its run down.

 

Mine did the same, changed battery and like was blinking but nothing, called my local mechanic he said he had to reprogram key, no big deal, but need dealer computer to do it, 5 minutes? Haven't been there yet but i'll let you know when I can get someone to take it there for me.
