I would not recommend the rims I have on the car. Buy some nice BBS rims or some nice GMG rims.
Why?

Gomez

From all the weight reduction you've done.

What would you summarise are the quick and easy ways to reduce weight for a daily driven road car?

So far I've removed back seats etc. as its a good bit of weight out and the engine sound comes into the cabin more.

Any other quick wins you found to that help reduce weight which are easy to do?

Gibbo205 was it hard to take out the back seats? Also how loud did it get inside the cabin? Does it sound good from inside?

This is an update to the fantastic build that Gomez did with GMG and HRG and his super-detailed thread. the car has been with a friend for the past 4 years at HPDe and open track day weekends. It has been street car reliable. He changed fluids after every 2nd track weekend. But other than consumables and a rebuild of the Ohlin shocks, no repairs. It only had 1 loose nut in 4 years. Leak down tests came out ok - engine feels strong. He added a second seat, Numeric shifter and cup cables. It now has a new home at the private racetrack and condo garage M1 Concourse where it's been holed up for a few months with snow out the window. Took it to VIR in March for 2 days. What a car! So nimble with great jump out of the turn. ran with a Cup car and was right there in the turns but of course he pulled away pretty well in the straights. Still, a super confidence-inspiring car. Can't wait to get to know the car better!

Would love to get the Renntrack.com site back up. It was just taken down a month or two ago. Have a bunch of other images of the build, as it was more extensive there. But I really have no idea how to do that. Anyone have some direction on that topic? This is what is used to look like, from an archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20160317...ad-Gomez-build
