New iOS 4 (iPhone OS 4) - 997.2
New iOS 4 (iPhone OS 4) - 997.2
I upgraded my iPhone to the new multitasking 4.0 iOS (as Apple calls it now). Having some problems with my bluetooth. Phone pairs but does not ring over the speakers when I receive a call. Everything else works. The ringtone option is also greyed out. I believe that was a valid option before.
Anyone have an iPhone running 3.x version that can confirm?

Progress made. I removed the pairing from both the PCM and the iPhone. I then re-paired the iPhone and it's ringing over the audio system.
The difference with the new iPhone os is that my iPhone ringtone is now coming over the speakers instead of the canned ringtone options from the PCM. The ringtone option on the PCM is still greyed out.
I believe all is well now! Will spend some time investigating further on the drive home!

Correct socalsteve. I upgraded my 3GS on Monday when the new iPhone OS released. The OS is the same one running on the new iPhone 4 arriving to some perhaps one day early.

Will try that on my way home from the office and report back. I have a dedicated iPod nano which always stays in the car for music. My iPhone is paired over bluetooth for phone calls only.
Fun911 - have you ever worried about your nano eating up battery power when it stays plugged in your car when you're not in it? Sorry a little off topic...
My iPhone 4 paired up with my 997.2 no problem. I'm going to try the music on the way home.

I may be wrong here but I thought the nano stops charging when the car is turned off. I'm going to check that also on the way home now. If it doesn't charge the device I assume we should be good, right?
