I do real estate, I do 3 times the work for half the money right now. It was a tough sell to keep the Porsche when my wife had to go back to work..
. Not to mention it was a pain if I had to show property in the 911.That being said I am enjoying the M3 nicely, just suffering through the break in until I can push her to 8400rpm. The motor sounds real nice and is very responsive. I can see why it wins Wards Engine of the Year in the 3.0-4.0 catagory. However, steering at low speeds is eerily light but still has decent feel..how'd they do that? Car is very neutral in the corners and doesn't feel like 3600lbs.

CONGRATULATIONS on the new ride. I was initially looking at an M3 before I decided to by a 997.2. The opposite situation to you, the 911 was a better 'fit' for me. The M3 is a proper executive toy, being practical yet enormously rewarding on the roads.
The M3, when I test drove it, had a dual personality. It was actually very civilised on the streets, having an almost 'boring' way of getting around. But that engine... must be one of the best V8s around. I preferred the C63 AMG to the M3, however...

M3 is fine option. Been catching my eye lately. For some reason I prefer the lines of the 4dr M. The coupe seems heavy/thick in the rear qtr panels. I think it is good to do now and have that great sounding V8 rather than the soon to be turbo six. Good luck w it Dave.
Congrats on the new ride Dave!. I don't think I ever saw you around town in your 997 unfortunately, but maybe I will in your RED E92 M3. It sure won't be hard to miss...again.
Dave, Beautiful car and may you enjoy her in great health.
I too am selling my 911 for an M3 for more space and everyday usage. If oyu don't mind me asking what kind of deal did they give you on your e92? PM me if you'd like.

Steve you have PM..

Sorry big guy, found someone local who wanted them. I guess I should have stated that I prefer local buys as I don't have the time to even deal with shipping and paypal. Obviously if push came to shove I would have done it, but everyone who bought was local.
Once again sorry,
Dave
