Sold the Porsche a week ago guys..
I sold the car for $56k which I thought was a decent price for the car. The buyer wasn't someone on 6speed although he saw my add in marketplace and flew down to buy the car. This is now the 4th car in a row for me in which the buyer was from back east or the north midwest (Minnesota). I guess they like Cali cars as they don't have to worry about rust. Anyway, I bought a new 2011 BMW E92 M3 ZCP..here she is.

Anyway, I may not be on the boards that much as I used to but I hope I am still welcome here from time to time. The last 3.5 years with the Porsche was extremely enjoyable and really do cherish all the cool people I have met on this board. Most of my aftermarket parts I sold already (Keninirvine better hurry up if you want the cats).
I had an 08 328i for a DD and the 997 for more of a weekend toy but I couldn't afford both a DD and the weekend toy, The 997 just didn't seem a good fit for a DD especially if I had to tow someone in the back seats or needed a trunk for storage and not to mention the amount of money I saved per month. Losing the 328i and the 997 while getting the E92 represented a $800 per month savings for me, which is huge right now.
The two cars are so different I don't even know if they should even be compared to each other. I do feel for what I do the E92 is a better fit for me and with my current financial situation it made much more sense than holding on to the 997. Anyway..just wanted to give you guys an FYI.

Congrats on the M3 - beautiful - love the wheels. It is a different sort of car, but still quite a car, and as you point out - arguably more practical while still being loads of fun. You'll be lovin' life too when it comes time for a service - on BMW's dime!
You too Aaron...keep me informed on the X51 intake install. Say hi to Ritz.

Looks great, the M3 is an awesome piece of machinery and sounds sooo cool. Enjoy it and the savings.

Sorry to see you leave the Porsche world, I do understand the situation that you are in. Please feel free to visit us as much as you want, and just drop the CATS of at Ken's place. Take his SLR camera if he doesn't want to pay...Stacy convinced him to buy a really good one!
