997.2 C4S and BILSTEIN pss10

New to the forum and have a question regarding my 09 C4S with PASM. I do have the sports suspension (OEM). I was thinking about upgrading to the pss10 not only for lowered appearance but for improved road handling and track performance. Does anyone have any comments on this setup or if it is worth it? Thanks.

I put the Bilstein Damptronics on my car this year, and love them. I only lowered the car about 3/4", but combined with new alignment and corner balance, the car handling improved a lot. It also looks better when slightly lowered IMO. Technically, the PSS10's are for the non-PASM cars, and the Damptronics are for the PASM cars.

They aren't cheap, but I think they're worth it. Good luck.

There are pss10 B16 damptronic coilovers for pasm cars. I have them on my car and it is great. Handles way better with a more agressive look. Love it!

Just a question for my own understanding of your situation since I've seen a quite a few people mention the PASM suspension as being the sport suspension, wich is not true. Does your car actually have the optional Sport PASM (sometimes noted as SPASM) with LSD? If so, I don't see you would actually get any significant gains unless you're a very skilled driver doing a lot of track time. But then you'd probably not ask these questions around here...
SPASM is very capable suspension setup. Very capable. My honest recomendation would be to focus on alignment, tires and driver education instead.
If you're modding mostly for looks, then others might have better suggestions.

Which sway bar would you recommend?

it depends of what you want to achieve. some people simply put single GT3 bar in rear instead of stock bar - it is a simple DIY job but you will be able to use it at softest and next to softest setting only IMHO as it is not balanced with stock front bar, to put front GT3 bar is more difficult job.

GMG bars are good but for us mere mortals I am not sure if GMG bars will be so different than stock GT3 bars and those can be found for way cheaper price. order tarett droplinks for them as well and make sure you specify for what shocks you need those droplinks - give tarett a call.

So with sports suspension I should still get at least a half inch drop? Springs are compatible with PASM right?
