New Mods coming for my 997.2 C4S !
I feel like a little kid waiting for Santa to come. I have an order from FVD coming that includes: headers, high flow cats, FVD ecu upgrade, & new IPD plenum. I also just recieved my werks 1 airbox from Champion Motorsports! Should have everything by the end of next week. I know some people like to do things gradually but I want to feel the changes all in one shot!

What are all these components you are ordering and what will they do to the car in terms of ride or performance?
Thanks!!
Eathy,
You in the PCA? Would luv to see your car at one of our events. (jersey shore region)
The plenum has just come out. you can see it on the FVD.us website. Rhonda from FVD is helping me get one of the first available. These mods will help the car inhale and exhale better. Should probably gain about 30 - 40 horsepower. I feel if you did it one by one you probably would not feel much seat of your pants difference, thats why I am putting it together all in one shot. Is it worth the price, probably not to most people, however it is exciting. Life can not be all about work and no play. I was never much a fan of forced induction cars that why I will try to take this one to its limits, in a safe manner
I am not in the PCA but I am looking to join soon.

I am not in the PCA but I am looking to join soon.also, does this put anything of warranty in void?
If I don't get the horses, you live and you learn. I am new to this and I guess that is what makes it exciting. I have never dyno'd the car and I don't plan on it because there seem to be to many variables that can alter your results. The car does run consitent low 12's in the 1/4 mile. That will be my objective testing on these mods. Can I shave a couple tenths? We will see.
those variables do have an effect - but its small....if you really have gains of 40 hp - it will show up. I hope you do, but i doubt it. Its the tuners (that dyno their own products) that tell you dont dyno because of all these variables...they dont want you to because they know what the results will be
Just flashed my car with the FVD software. Feels great! Installing the FVD 200 cell cats and headers, along with the werks 1 airbox tomorrow. Will let you know how it feels.
thats some set-up...keep us posted....how about a pic or two.
