BTW I still have those sorry *** #$!$!@ JIC Magic Cross COs in my garage. If anyone needs to rebuld 997.1 suspension - please do me a great favor and make me an offer as I cannot even look at `em no more.

Hey man, sorry, have to agree with the others - never done! And if you are done the car will be sold because you are bored and the Lotus will be in your driveway! Your use of the car sounds like you would probably enjoy a Lotus more anyway.
While I'm sure the suspension bushing changes make for a more precise feel, I'll be the car has become a lot louder than stock. Big increase in cabin noise?

ERP rod ends are all wrapped into teflon so it is not like steel on steel all the time plus shocks are truly superb. plus i kept stock gt3 rubber LCA ends.
at least for now nothing clicks or clunks, everything is very tight.

already have had some while in college, so, thanks, no thanks.
I need new house, 3 car garage, tow vehicle, trailer, lift, then it will become interesting.
i like to plan long term, so, i guess in 4-5 years I will get all that, hopefully. then we`ll see.
just out of curiosity
how much are those LSD usually and what should be taken off to put them on? Is ECU alteration required?

No ecu mod needed. They range from $2000-3000 depending on type and brand. When actually changing a diff it should be done by a pro as shiming it properly can be quite difficult.
Other than that, a limited slip transmission is possibly the best change you can make to a 911.
Be because of the rear engine design, braking can be very hairy at the limit. With an LSD the rear wheels will not rotate at a different rate and will enhance stability substancially. Watch how the car behaves with the new suspension under heavy braking and you'll feel the 'wiggle'.
Sold yet? Install is usually about 6-10 hours labour.

will see when next season comes.
i do not have any desire to spend $4k more this season on anything.
honestly i do not know yet how much track will this car even see.
i will do DEs in it this season but I incline to build a track-only car if I will feel that my skills do progress at adequate pace for all this fun. all the parts I have are interchangeable, well, if not all but most.
just to learn proper line I do not need LSD nor cage nor anything else so there is really no need to jump way over the head here.
