Ordered my TE37

I finally ordered my TE37 for my 997. Any advise for the Lug Nuts?

I had a hard time finding the wheels I like and the right price. There are thousands of wheels on the market and pricing varies all over the place.

Finally, I decide to order the Volks TE37:
Gunmetal
TE37 19x8.5, 19x11
Hankook V12 tires

What kind of Lug Nuts should I use? I am considering Rays racing.

Thanks,

I'd go for Rays as well... Anodised blue goes well with the Volks Gunmetal colour. Any pictures?

Are thes for the track? If so stick with the stock lug bolts. They are very strong.

Hmm for Hankook V12s? Probably not for track...

Did you mean lug nuts? Bolts are on the hub, are they not? If you meant the OEM steel lug nuts, then yeah, steel will always be toughest...

I run the OEM bolts with my Volk TE37's.

Nice light wheels, not the nicest design IMO, but tough and very light.

NorthVan, how much did you spend on your wheels?

Will post pictures after I install this weekend.

Seem like Rays Racing bolts are the way to go.

I bought them second hand from a forum member. I use them for the track only.

Your car needs to be lowered, and I would get some spacers for back to push it out to the edge of the fender.

I thought about lowering and spacers for the back.

1) lowering the car needs camber and the ride will chage, still debating if I should do it.

2) as far as spacers, most people add specers to the back? I think there is less than 1/2 of room from the edge of the wheel to the fender.

any advise?

You can lower it to ROW height and still maintain a Porsche Alignment, that is what I have on my car. Also, I have 7 mm spacers in the front and 15 mm spacers in the rear with my stock wheels.

My TE37's are widebody offset and fit right to the edge of the fender

wow, I like your setup. Can you tell me what shock/spring you are using? and ride quality vs stock?

Also, the red ring on your wheels looks great.

I am running Bilstein Damptronics coil overs, they ride better then OEM IMO as well as others that have them.

I am not a fan of the red ring, I prefer an all black wheel, but when I finally decide to get them redone I can do what even I want. Right now there are looking beat up, a lot of spots with thin sliver tape that is used to hold the wheel balancing weights to the wheels under extreme heat. I put them on the car last night and thought, man these look like crap

May I ask where you found TE37 at a sharp price?
