It's raining here tonight in Minneapolis.
My son and I were out running errands in my 05 C2S and when he climbed in the back seat he said the roof was leaking. Water was dripping through the headliner back by the rear window. Driver's side corner.

I assume this is due to a sunroof seal leak. Anybody else ever experience this?

 

I experienced it with my 2002 996 . The leak was miniscule --I noticed it while washing the car and in heavy rain it didn't happen so i left it alone. Since i never tried to fix it I can't speak of the work involved .

 

That happened on my 993. I thought the seal was busted, but actually the cable guide was cracked. I ended up replacing both the cable guide and got a new sunroof seal.

 

Turns out one of the drain tubes is crushed/bent/dented.
Dealer is ordering a new one.
No idea how that happens. I'll certainly ask.
