Hey Evo, I did the same front end conversion but I can't seem to get the LED blinkers to work. How did you do yours?

I just took a volt meter, figured out what wire was 12v for turn signal and running lights. Pulled those out of the headlight harness wired them to the signals. I cut and made my own harness. the white wires on the signal are actually ground and the black is power. Weird right?

So correct me if I'm wrong but you didn't have to buy any module at all? nor have PIWIS coding set to led? You just spliced the right wiring directly?

Nope wired 2 white wires to crash support (ground) and black wire to turn signal wire from 996 harness. Worked perfect nothing else needed

RoadRage he is talking about a 996 adding the 997 lights I believe. The 997 is another story.

Autolumination.com sells a dual color diode yellow/white. Its their 30smd. I just ordered 2 of those. Got smd harnesa from vleds.com and going to solder it all up . How is it different vivid? If theres power and ground you just need polarity right correct?

That site has viruses I suggest nobody click on it. Immediate warning from Google Chrome...

The 997TT is full of fun electrically. If you figure it out, awesome, but test it on a 997. We have tried many things.

Yeah, I just noticed that. I have a 997s and recently upgraded to a turbo face. Any advice on how to make my LED blinkers work?

i mean it would be a ton of wiring but u could do a relay setup and run a harness to battery. Try measuring resistance of your stock lights then measure on new and match a resistor up to it? I just know the 2 white wires are ground and the one black is +. What exactly does your car do when u try to hook them up?

i will probably copy off of techart and do a relay setup where dtrs drop to half voltage when signals are on so they can be more visable. Also found a yellow 5w diode that needs minimal heat disapation that i can put in the wedge bulb spot im excited to get this done

Bump, and subscribing....VERY interested in the outcome as this should be way cheaper than SpeedART's version.

Thanks to all involved!
