Hopefully this is not a repost; I just saw them on eBay. Opinions?

Whoops, sorry Chuck, easy way to find them without a link is to go to eBay and search for "porsche 997 led tail lights."

Just checked them out, very poor pictures on the ebay listing. I'm not sure I would trust the fitment and quality without testimonials on this forum as well as really good photos.

Thanks, synergy. I have a bad record buying items like this on previous cars when I was younger and naive, thinking who could in good conscience offer an aftermarket product that is of poor quality/fitment? So far I have done well on my current cars by buying only oem equipment or products from well-known companies (TechArt, etc.). I was intrigued by these though...

anthony - this is a great find! I've been periodically searching the net for direct bolt on 997.1 LED tails. I also agree about dealing with an unknown vendor. It's hard to tell by these pictures but these LEDs don't look too bright. I presume they built the resistors in to avoid bulb out warning. I wish someone would modify 997.2 to make it work with 997.1 bumper - wishful thinking I guess.Again, thanks for the link and keep us posted.

There are no pics of them actually on the car. A side by side with the OEM LEDs would also help. If they're comparable and fitment is OEM quality, then I'd definitely be interested.

I thought there was a pict with it on the car - the lights look very dim though. Other issue is that vendor is in Australia...

Ooops - that's not what I meant. I always enjoy hanging out with Aussies! Esp in bars There appears to be three separate auction locations - Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore.

That price is too close to the price of OEM .2 LED's, granted you would have to change/modify the rear bumper, but still DEPO can't be serious pricing them like OEM lights.

someone has be the the guinea pig here...
Agree that at those prices OEM LEDs + rear bumper modification (or outright replacement) option comes into the picture.
