This does not appeal to me but it doesn't have to since I'm 63 and will keep my curent 911 until I'm too old to drive it but I'm sorry Porsche decided to go this route both with the outside and the inside. To me less is always more. I don't want a bigger house or car. Keep it exclusive and keep it a drivers car.

I know I'm in the minority but it's how I feel....I think we've seen the last ot the 911s that put a smile on your face when you look at them and drive them. A 911 was never meant to be any kind of a GT car.

You think the VW/Audi designers had any influence on the interior?

"A 911 was never meant to be any kind of a GT car."

I hope Porsche dont do that, Im glad I was finnnally able to get my first 911 being the current wholly designed Porsche. 997.2 really is a good all round Sports car with the creature comforts added without adding too much weight and detracting from the fun factor, although Ive never driven an older model Porsche.

I really hope not but the aircon controls and vents look very Audi A4/A6 model. Dare I say it. Bit like Lambourghini now, Id never buy one because half of the interior is exactly the same as my RS4 was.
