What rubber for TE37's?

I'm thinking of going with TE37's for my 08 997 c2 for track/autoX duty and want to put some good rubber on them. Thinking about 18x9 with 235/40/18 and 18x12 with 305/35/18 toyo r888's. What do you guys think?

The TE37's are very light weight, I haven't tried the 888's but here good things about them.

+1 or if you want more of a street tire and something that lasts longer than an R-comp get RE-11s

Go with 245-40-18 instead of 235-40-18. track tires?.....Toyo R888 or RA1 if you can find those...be careful of old manufacture dates with RA1 though
