PDK Errors

I've noticed that if I let the car sit without driving for 10+ days I get transmission fail errors on startup. If I shut off then restart its fine. Anybody else have this problem? This morning it let me reverse out of the garage but would not engage any forward gears until I "rebooted" it.
2009 C2S PDK with Sport Chrono.

I have a simple solution

don't let it sit

just kidding, I know sometimes we don't get to drive our toys. I know on some other high end cars it is recommended to plug them in if they will sit for and extended period of time. I use my 911 as my daily so I'm not sure if this is the case with it.

Might be in a trans/lock mode. I believe there were supposedly some cars that had a recall for a software update? Might want to check with the dealer though.

You might want to use a battery maintainer. I think the battery is losing juice. Either that or drive it more often.

It happens to me often, if I let the car sit for 3 weeks or so...

Had the same problem with my 2009 PDK. Went to the dealer, he reflashed the ECU with the latest software. No problems since (6 months).
