2011 C4S will be here this week - changed mind on wheel

Hey guys.

My C4S is done with PDI and en route to my dealership - should be here this week or next. Everything is perfect except I was fickle on my wheel selection at the time of order. I don't particularly love any of the stock Porsche wheel choices.

...so I went with the Turbo I forged wheel. Now I really wish I had gone with the newer Turbo II option.

I called the dealership and they can't do anything - which I expected. They can wholesale me the T2's but that's still bucks and I'm still stuck with my Turbo 1 wheels.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
ep

Call Wheel Enhancement and see if you can work some kind of a deal. I would do it before you put miles on the car.

you can sell your Turbo I wheels easily on this site within 1 week. I sold my 2 week old wheels (whatever comes on 2010 997.2) for good money (PM for price) very quickly and had many more people try to buy them...

Get the wheels you want and sell the others - Do not compromise on your $100k+ car - make it look the way you want it to....I LOVE my wheels and am very happy I got what I wanted..Wheels make a car in my opinion.

I had the same dilemma. Once car is ordered and built no changes. it affects the certificate of authenticty and build order. I have the turbo1 wheels. Always get compliments. Seen them side by side with new turbo 2 wheels. No comparison. turbo one wheels much nicer. stick with what u have.

Call wheelenhancment dot com, and ask them how much would be the trade-in difference between the two wheels.

These guys are the Porsche wheels expert, they might be able to help.

Regards,

Hahah - My golf avatar is Titleist tour player Geoff Ogilvy warming up in the morning. He seems to be doing ok with his swing plane

My golf swing is a little flatter. More one-plane. But thanks.

Regarding the wheels I will wait until delivery and make the call. Thanks for the opinions. I just saw some great pics of the Turbos 2's and they are sharp.

Thanks for the wheelenhancement website and tip - they look good. Still unsure on wheels - It's one of those things where if you are spending $116k on a car you want everything to be perfect. Seen good angles of both turbo forged wheels.

thanks again.
