Hey guys so ive posted some stuff on here as too maybe upgrading to a Gen II 997. I think the time has come, found a 2010 C2S preowned Porsche Certified w 4k miles guy had it as a bridge car for his 911 Turbo S nicee. Got a good deal, just waiting to hear from Bank Approval, but I just ordered Clear Side markers and a Guards Red S emblem from Eric at Bumperplugs so I better get approved .

Anyway the car is Artic Silver the 3rd Silver Pcar for me had a 996 Cab Silver w a grey top...my 997.1 is Artic w a Blk top and this is a Silver Cpe I would luv a Blk Pcar but beggars cant be choosers. It has Nav..supple Leather seats..Sport chrono..6spd..Bose..Pwr Seats..XM Radio yada yada i guess. Either way I test drove it and the new 997.2 blowssss my car away speed wise 6spd to 6spd that new engine is retarded. Anyway will post pics when I get and review of a 997.1 6spd to a 997.2 6spd

just heard back got Bank Approval ..signing the papers 2mrrw and pick up end of next week WHOOOOAAA...thanks NorthVan. I will say any1 looking to upgrade a 997.1 to a 997.2 now is the time Porsche is dying to get rid of 2010 off their lots

Is the 30hp difference that noticeable? What about the sound?

 

Hahaha i know what you are saying. I test drove a PDK S w SC last year and was BLOWN away how fast that car was. But hadnt driven the 6spd til a week ago and I was like . But I didnt even get to really feel it out due to too much traffic everywhere. But got a nice burst once and said the same thing that DFI is retarded. I will def post feedback after i get sum serious seatime.
