Smile Rennline **** & Adjustable Lifter Plate installed

After waiting more than a week. My Rennline shift **** & Adjustable Lifter Plate finally came.

It took me a little more than 2.5hrs to have both of them installed, because I suck on drilling, and I was having problem removing the OEM shift **** from the boot. (Finally got them all done correclty =P )

Difficult to heel-toe & not very good shifter were 2 of my complants with my Porsche in my 3K miles 3 months driving.

First of all, the STi was dead easy to heel-toe of rev-match as I brake in my 1st week of driving the car. However, with the Porsche, I have to put alot of effot, and it was still very difficult. I then bought the Rennline Gas pedal with the extension, which was still not good enough. I finally decided to put this adjustable lifter to increase the height of my gas pedal (with Angle adjustment), and with my 1st attempt to drive it around the street for about 15mins. I was able to do everything just perfect. =D

As regarding the OEM Shift **** vs Rennline Ball type Shift ****.
1> I prefer ball type shift ****, so that I can put my middle/ring fingers under the ****. It allows me to shift faster and more accurate.
2> the OEM **** is far too light, the heavier weight shift **** on short shifter just make everything much better.

IMHO

Bottom line... I am extremely happy with the result =D
