Calling Targa owners!
Calling Targa owners!
I am having a headache when it comes to the suspension of my 2009 Targa 4.
Trying to buy springs and no manufacturer have a listing for the Targas, do they share the same parts as the regular Carrera 4 / 4S?
Looking for Eibach springs....
I saw these Damptronics for sale, will they fit?

The 996 targa shares the same shocks and springs with the cab. Some products list different products for the targa/cab vs. coupe. But some say their products (Eibach springs) can be used for either.
For example, the RoW 030 suspension for the targa would use the cab version per Gert at Carnewal and per Sunset Porsche.
Not sure if this is the same for the 997s though.

When I had my T4S, I looked at Damptronics but didn't actually have them installed. I did install them on my current C2S cab and love them. Just lowering the car by 3/4" looks so much better without creating clearance issues, although I still have to be careful where there are dips. The combo of Damptronics with new alignment and corner balance made a huge difference (improvement) in the car's handling (which I already thought was great). In my experience, it was almost impossible to find used Damps for a Targa, since there aren't many out there. Luckily, for my C2S I was able to find a used set and saved a lot of money over buying new.
