Rock guard on rear fender

On my white paint, the clear plastic film that protects the rear wheel arches is starting to yellow...very noticeable on the white paint.

Any way to bring it back to clear? Is there a solution to replace it?

Funny you should ask. I am taking my white, 10 GT3 in to the dealer tomorrow to have mine (badly yellowed) replaced. I was told they are a warranty item, so what's not to like about that. I had called to ask about replacement film, it is $44 dollars per side, when they told me that it was a warranty item. I just had to schedule my replacement for Wednesday when the film guy comes in. He heats the old to remove them before replacing with new.

Go black

replace with a black version like seen on the new spyder......think it would look nice, unique and still functional...

mine is a 06 cpo and they replaced it under warranty ~4 months back.

my new film is starting to fade, not yellow yet, but it's getting there..and the edges collect dirt, very hard to clean.......

It "badly yellowed" in only a short period... it's a 2010?

I would assume that all the film on the cars is yellowed but the color of the car makes it hard to see in some/most cases...

That is an interesting idea...anyone have pictures on a white car? I have black wheels and tinted windows so I think it could look good...

I'd love to see a picture first.

I'm surprised porsche hasn't found a way to produce a film that doesnt yellow-- or at least not that fast.

I remember a friends 993 having the same problem
