GTS COUPE: DEC. 8th BUILD

The 2011 Carrera GTS I have on order is available. I placed my order with Hennessy Porsche in Atlanta -- though I live in California -- as my local dealer was shut out of the initial round of production. Now he has a confirmed slot for a GTS, and it is far easier for me to buy the car next door instead of having it shipped cross-country. Though I get my car later this way, there are fewer chances for something to go wrong.

If you are interested in an early delivery GTS, please contact David Gentile at 678-477-8835. I found David quite knowledgeable and easy to work with, and hope someone can grab this car.

If anyone takes over this production slot, could you PLEASE PM me to let me know, as this may impact how much of my deposit is refunded.

Here is the configuration of the build:

FINAL BUILD:
911 Carrera GTS 997 150
BASE 911 Carrera GTS
B4 Carrara White
28 Black Interior with Alcantara
672 Extend Navigation Mod-PCM 3.0
342 Heated Seats (Front)
640 Sport Chrono Package Plus
P01 Adaptive Sport Seats
250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
220 Limited Slip Rear Differ Lock
XXZ Footrest in Sports Look
267 Self Dimming Mirrors
450 Ceramic Composite Brakes-PCCB

BUILD DATE: December 8, 2010
DELIVERY DATE: End of January, 2011

I hope you can get your deposit back. They should be able to sell this car to someone else.

Me too. I don't think finding a replacement buyer is a prerequisite of getting the refund, but I wanted to do what I could to make it easy for them...

Too bad it's a PDK, otherwise, I got $100K+ burning a hole in my wallet!

Also, I fell back in love with my 2005 997.....

The GTS was created so Porsche cud use up the stockpile of 997.2 body panels and other parts before the new model comes out. Its basically a C2S in a 4S body with a performance tuned engine and fancy wheels. Nobody should be paying list on this car in this economic environment
