have your engine warm (drive at least for 10 min or it wont even work)
press sport plus
press your left foot on the break
step on gas with the right foot
it will rev, and on your speedometer will say launch control..
let go of the break..................then you fly

I just tried launch control last week at the dealer.
I took a drive in a demo 997.2 C4S with a Porsche driving school instructor.
I tried launch control and then the instructor got in the driver's seat and he tried launch control.

Turn on Sport Plus.
Keep your left foot on the brake (all the way).
Right foot on the gas (wait about 6 seconds, and let it get to about 6500 rpms - according to the instructor).
Let go of the brake and then "WHA-LA."
The first time around I took my foot off the brake took quickly, and the rpms only hit about 5000 rpms. The wheels peeled out and there wasn't much acceleration.
When launch control is done properly, it's awesome!
Good luck.
