PCM doesnt work......sometimes
I thought I saw one advertised for around $500 in the classifieds recently. They come up periodically. As you likely know, if replaced, the option codes related to your VIN have to be obtained from PCNA and loaded into the PCM. Of course, the other optional route is to put in an aftermarket head unit with better nav, bluetooth, audio input, etc. Do a search if interested in pursuing that route. Good luck.
I will most likely replace with another factory unit and will wait paitently till I see one for that much . I actually didnt know that so thanks for the info I appreciate it . Just wondering however if I did go with an aftermarket unit....Are they a nightmare to hookup becuase of the Bose Sub in the rear?Would that still work?
