clear bra and cleaning
Im in the middle of cleaning, polishing and waxing my car.. very satisfying except that the clear bra is such a pain to work around. I almost wish I did not have it on.
Is that just me being lazy?

I use a product for Zaino Bros called Z-6 on my clear bra. It leaves no haze or visual residues on the clear bra. Spray-on and wipe-off, it leaves the clear bra silky smooth.

I know that Zaino Z-6 is an awesome product. I've never used it on my 911 with clear bra but I used it and other Zaino products when I showed my S2000. Zaino creates a beautiful shine.
I like the idea of this 3M Aerospace Protectant since it has UV protection. I may look for that next.

I am not sure I really understand your problem. Do you have a problem caring for the clear-bra or working on the paint around the clear-bra. If it is the latter, masking off the edges properly prior to polishing by machine or applying products that may stain or mark such surfaces is all it takes. I use the 3M Blue painters masking tape.
Clear bra
I have Ventureshield on my entire front end (full hood, full bumpers) and of course the front bumper and even the headlights. I asked a bunch of people and half said to use some special product and the other half said to treat it just like the rest of the car. I have had the clear bra on my car for one year now and I have washed it and waxed it like the rest of the car. It looks great and the one guy I know who's more **** about cleaning his car than me (takes his wheels off each time he details his car) said you can barely see the clear bra unless you really look for it up close (within 1 foot from the car).

That is the issue. So you actually polish and wax the other parts of the car and then come back to the clear bra? Seems logical but a lot of work. I will have to try it next time.
I have been using Gariots garage stuff.. It is actually really good, except using the clay bar near the bra. I tape off the windows and stuff so I guess I could try it as well.
Thanks
I use BEAD MAX, by STONER, which was what the high end place used in Ft Lauderdale that installed the 3M clear bra. As far as swirls or marks on the clear bra, piece of cake. As I have previously posted, a solution of rubbing alcohol diluted 50/50 with water, sprayed on.sit 5 mins....................wipe area with chamois cloth-your mark or swirl on the clear bra is G O N E !

Rubbing alcohol is already diluted. Are you saying dilute it again 50/50?
; especially cars and then especially Porsches! It's only a car...you couldn't give me one for free.I know I'm probably in the minority but I just never understood the attraction or rationale.

Here's why
Here's why I have the clear bra: Cars are susceptible to stone chips from just everyday driving, but if you track the car (as I do) the car is WAY MORE susceptible. Having the clear bra really does almost eliminate those stone chips.

Probably wouldn't
