Jim, I had the work performed at an indy Porsche shop in the area so I'm can't answer all of your questions. I didn't see them do the actual flushing part but was there when they were refilling the system with Porsche factory coolant diluted 50/50 with distilled water. Not sure what brand of brake fluid they used but any brand that meets the specs stated in the manual should be fine. Coils, belt, etc. were ordered from Suncoast and I believe current pricing is on their website. I believe there is only one belt (the polyrib drive belt) so that is what was replaced. I think spray carb cleaner was used to clean the throttle body

After having the NEW COILS & plugs installed, did you notice any difference in your car's performance ?

Were you having problems before you replaced the coils ?

No objective performance improvements but cars always seem to run better after you work on them I wasn't having any problems but noticed when replacing plugs that most of the coils were cracked. Replaced them all at 40K miles as preventative maintenance.

I assume heat makes them crack?
I have coil packs in 3 Volvos 12 yrs old, 10 yrs old and 7 years old and none have cracked or ever needed replacing.

I think it's a combination of severe heat cycling and the fact that they are basically exposed to the elements on the bottom of the car.

Normal engines with the coils on top under a bonnet don't self-destruct the way ours do.
