Looking for an 09' 997S....

So I just sold my '05 997 and I'm Porscheless for a while...hopefully not long. What is the market for used 09's? What can I expect to pay for a lightly used certified 09S?

We just got a quote of $72k for ours, which fits that description. Not that we were thinking about selling. Different reasons. It is not certified, but still under the original warranty as many will be.

I'd wait, next September the all new 991 (998) will be released and it will be significantly different from the 997 (well by Porsche standards anyway).
Prices of the 997 will be dropping across the board.

Good luck with the hunt!

Not sure if there's a price differential between West and East coast, but here's a CPO '09S with ~6K miles for $78.9K asking http://burlington.porschedealer.com/...19513/info.php.

I took a quick peek at this car as I stopped into the parts department (and then again on the way out!) on Monday and it looks super nice. No affiliation.

Mine is for sale -- $78,888 (with ~$18K worth of mods all installed at a Porsche dealer).

<5 mph fender bender in parking lot which is what shows on the carfax. Have all repair records and photos.

Check my 6speed history -- you'll see how passionate I am with my cars.

Much depends on the miles, options, condition and whether or not it was a launch car. Typically launch cars will be lower priced (that's the green PDK 997.2S ).
PDK and items like full leather on a favorable color have higher MSRP and with that comes higher resale .

At the low end I'd say 70K (a basic no frills 997.2S with a manual ) or a launch car. 72K . At the high end ( a cherry picked well optioned PDK with under 10K miles) it's closer to 80 certified and in the upper 70's without.

I was offered 75K when i was considering a trade in for a Gt3RS about 4 months ago . Back then the 997.2S were selling in the 80's (which I felt was overpriced BTW) .

So 70-80 depending.

I have been looking for a similar car. 997S white, black guts- PDK, Sports chrono plus and a few other options. Dealers are anywhere from 72k to 78k both with CPO. The major difference that I am finding is the mileage. <10k miles seems to be the trigger and at the lower end of the price scale the mileage is just under 20k miles.

I think right now they are over priced, and as the above poster commented, the new model will be out soon. I would wait until next model year to see how it will impact prices.

All those other estimates sound consistent with ours since that 72k was 'wholesale value' as they say, and we use ours as a daily driver, so it has 20,000 miles this month.

Oh damn. Nice looking car and great list of options. Maybe I could make room if I cleaned out the garage and tossed all those tools I never use these days. Then I could drive cocoa leather on days with an 'n' and our current one the other days...

Can you send me some additional or larger pictures @ cswusa at gmail.com?

Also can you include the warranty start and end date?

Thanks
