Is the Panamera styling growing on anyone else?
I still don't like it - saw a white one last night at the dealer with white wheels - probably one of the better color combos to my eyes - my wife and I laughed "does this color make my *** look fat".
Seems to be a common issue with cars these days - BMW X6 was an early starter and other odd shapes have followed - I'm guessing some design goal that makes a more traditional curve difficult to do. That or the designers are bored or I'm just too old to get it...or some of both.

Nope, thought it was ugly when it first came out, I tried not to judge it before seeing it in person, after seeing it multiple times, still thinks it looks ugly. I don't think it will ever grow on me.
Totally growing on me as well. Especially with aftermarket wheels.
I was just thinking the other day, you only see the outside, especially the back, a fraction of the time-Seems like the interior appearance is more important to me as thats where you spend most of your time & the Pan's interior is pretty frikkin cool.
For a saloon, of course

Driving the car brings its beauty into a new light . The connection of driver and machine is so fullfilling yet unexpected. It's like meeting the woman who might not have attracted attention yet in an intimate moment she can blow your mind .
Until you drive one . It is the best driving car of its size by a huge margin. In fact the Turbo is so good that it makes it hard to justify the 997 Turbo as a street car given the amenties compared between the two.

I really like the 2nd gen Cayenne. I hope they make similar improvements on the 2nd gen Panamera, as the first still looks like a bloated, angry egg to me.
It has grown on me over the last year or so for multiple resons:
- if you leave the rear wing up, the rear doesn't look so 'egg' like
- what are its competitiors? S550? 750? Pana has a much sportier look and definately better drive than those.

it´s kind a of a mixed bag. i have seen plenty of them in the last months. it sells like hot cakes over here in germany as well.
the stock versions with smaller wheels etc. still don`t convince me, but with bigger wheels (at least 20"), with the right colors and a bit lowered, it is a damned impressive ride.
