Found weird spot/stain in instrument display

Your best bet is to take it to your dealer and have them look at it. Things like this shouldn't go wrong and may still fall under a warranty claim. You've got nothing to lose. If they can't do anything about it, just buy the part wholesale, I think suncoast porsche is a sponsor here, and replace it yourself or take it to an independent porsche repair.
And try not to get excited going over 130mph again. Use protection next time.

Ya......looks like a pixel problem. The only fix would be to replace the entire cluster. (

Temperature related? That's a good point. I had a VW that lost a few pixels in the summer Florida heat.

yellow speedo lcd pixels
Similar issue on my speedo lcd with different placement and varying size/shape. Pixels appear yellow in color, but I can still read the vehicle speed (the white numbers displayed during the day), the speed appears to be projected above the yellow pixels. Still have to try at night.
Does anyone know if the owner of the original post ever get a resolution to his pixel issue and what it was? Please advise.
