There is a possibility that I will be making a big move to Abu Dhabi and I want to see if there are a lot of pcars in Abu Dhabi. My 997 is my current daily driver so I am curious how it will be if I do decide to bring my 997 overseas

I do know for a fact that for the Cayennes the midddle east is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) market. They off-road with them in the desert quite a bit. I am sure 911s are dime a dozen over there.

Plenty of Pcars over in the UAE. Seen plenty of nicely modded ones to boot.

As for seeing them in the desert, I mainly see landcruisers out there playing in the sand with the occasional range rover, never a cayenne.

 

You wont face any problems with the car in AbuDhabi since almost all the roads are great. I drive mine daily in Dubai.
Like Taffin said, we have an active Porsche club here in the UAE and you can have loads of fun if you join. Some of the events are held in Dubai but the Yas Marina Circuit track day is in AbuDhabi so you shouldnt miss out.
