997.2 brakes
Besides the red:
- Both S and non-S are 4 pistons calipers. They do not use the same pads so you have more pad surface on the S model - the S calipers are beefier and can presumable apply more force / dissipate more heat.
- The discs are the same diameter but they are thicker on the S model. Better heat dissipation, may last longer.
- I believe you cannot change the pads without removing the calipers on the non-S brakes. That could be a pain if you track and want to swap pads yourself.
